HomeSketch ("the App") is an AI-powered home design application developed as a personal project. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and how it is handled. Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to being transparent — particularly where your data interacts with third-party services.

1. Information We Collect

• Anonymous Session Identifier. Upon launching the App, an anonymous authentication token is automatically generated via Supabase. This identifier contains no personal information and exists solely to associate your current session with your design requests. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other identifying detail.

• Uploaded Images. When you submit a design request, the image you provide is temporarily uploaded to Supabase Storage to facilitate processing. This image is then shared with Replicate's API to generate your AI-powered design output. Once generation is complete, both the input and output images are deleted from Supabase Storage as part of our automated cleanup process.

• App Usage Data. We may collect anonymized, non-identifiable usage patterns — such as features accessed — to understand how the App is used and to inform improvements. No personally identifiable information is associated with this data.

2. How Your Images Are Processed

When you submit a room photo or image for styling, the following flow occurs:

1. Your image is uploaded to Supabase Storage (our cloud storage provider), where it is held temporarily.

2. HomeSketch provides Replicate's API with access to that stored image to perform AI-based design generation.

3. The resulting output image is retrieved and delivered to you within the App.

4. Both the uploaded input image and the generated output image are deleted from Supabase Storage after the request completes. HomeSketch does not retain your images beyond what is necessary to fulfill your request.

Replicate acts as a data processor on our behalf for the purpose of image generation. By using the design generation feature, you consent to your image being processed in this manner. Replicate's handling of data on their infrastructure is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process your design requests and deliver AI-generated outputs

• To maintain your session during App usage via anonymous authentication

• To improve App functionality using anonymized usage data

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any party for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

• Uploaded and generated images are deleted from Supabase Storage upon successful completion (or failure) of a generation request. They are not permanently stored by HomeSketch.

• Anonymous session tokens are retained for the duration of your session and cleared after a period of inactivity, or when the App is uninstalled.

• Generated designs you choose to save are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to any server.

5. Analytics and Tracking

HomeSketch does not use advertising networks, third-party trackers, or behavioral profiling tools. Any usage data collected is strictly anonymized and used only for internal App improvement.

6. In-App Purchases

HomeSketch may offer premium features via in-app purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data.

7. Children's Privacy

HomeSketch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has used the App and provided information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data associated with your anonymous session. To exercise these rights, please contact us at egemenappdev@gmail.com.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
